Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need boating experience or a license to rent a houseboat?
No prior experience or licensing required! If you are concerned there are pilots available with the local marinas as a =ird party service.
What is Included in my ownership week?
Your ownership week includes professional launch and retrieval of the houseboat. Ownership on a beautiful boat to be used each year on the same week. All repairs and maintence are handled by the Club.
How is this different from a timeshare?
The Houseboat Club at Lake Powell offers a membership-based alternative to traditional boat timeshares, providing users with a specific “owned week” on a high-end houseboat. Members avoid the large upfront costs of timeshares as well as avoiding unexpected repair costs.
